Brazoria County Sheriff’s Office Investigating Murder Suicide that Left 3 Dead, 2 injured

MANVEL, TX -- Investigators with the Brazoria County Sheriff’s Office are investigating an apparent murder-suicide that left three people dead and two others injured.

Deputies were called to the 200 block of Oak Shore Drive at about 1:30 a.m. Sunday after a man called and said he’d shot his wife to death.

When deputies arrived, the found a 28-year old man, a 30-year old man and a 50-year old woman all shot to death.

Deputies said they also found a 36-year-old woman shot in the head and a 43-year-old woman with a gunshot wound to the stomach.

EMS took the 36-year-old woman was transported to Herman Memorial Hospital by Life Flight in critical condition, and the 43-year-old woman was taken to Ben Taub Hospital in critical condition, deputies said.

Investigators have not released the names of any of the injured or dead, pending notification of family.

The shooting is under investigation.
