Clara Harris Paroled: Dentist Who Killed Cheating Husband Is Free
Clara Harris, the jilted wife who ran over her husband, over and over and over again, will be released on May 11.

CLEAR LAKE, TX — Clara Harris, the former Clear Lake dentist convicted in 2002 of murdering her cheating husband by running over him several times with her Mercedes-Benz, will be released from prison next month.
Harris, who has served 15 years of her 20-year prison sentence, will be paroled from the Crain Unit at the Texas Department of Corrections on May 11.
Harris, who was convicted in 2003, suspected that her husband, David Harris, was being unfaithful and used a private investigator to track him to the Hilton Hotel in Nassau Bay.

She went into the hotel where she confronted David and his mistress in the lobby.
The episode moved to the parking lot, where Harris snapped, and was videotaped by the private investigator driving in a circle, and running over her husband, David, several times with the couple’s daughter in the car.

Her case made headlines around the world, and spawned a documentary and a movie.
Harris will be on parole until 2023
