Tamia got started because she has been making creamer for a little over a year now. Her mother passed away a couple years ago from Alzheimer’s and one of the things that they would do when she was younger was that they would get up early in the morning and have coffee morning every morning before she went to school and that was their thing.

Tamia was then trying to find a way to deal grief and honor her at the same time. What she did was make the creamer and thing “what would my mom do?” and after this creamer by kay was born. The beauty collective came from a pandemic kind of thing. She was home with her kids and she didn’t have time to do anything for herself, she had no time for her hair or face and she was trying to figure out a way that women could do all this in one place. At the Beauty Collective, you can come in and have a cup of coffee and you can also get a facial, lashes, waxing, you can get a massage, get non-invasive liposuction and it is all under one roof.

Her mother is her big inspiration. It was when she was working for Boeing that she shared with other pilots and offered them a taste of her creamer and progressively more and more people wanted her creamer. Her friends in Dallas wanted the creamer as well and this is when she knew she had something.

When people go to the Beauty collective you can expect young and up and coming and seasoned professionals that offer all kinds of beauty services. At the Beauty Collective, she is giving the opportunity to keep all of the money that they make unlike they would at other companies. She is driving other entrepreneurs to Buy Into Bay Area. While she is working with the ladies that are at the Beauty Collective, they are going over: how to budget, how to make a business plan, how to build your business to withstand the economy and much more so they can grow.

It is like a sisterhood because Tamia promotes them and and they promote here. They just want to succeed. They are working together to build their brands together. It’s all about building relationships and connecting people together, she says.
