Ohwhatfun is a selfie booth and balloon installation business that specializes in creating a lively atmosphere for any kind of event. Chris is a nurse by trade and got into this business because her and her husband were co chairing a golf tournament and she tried to reach out to a gentleman she used before and he had gone out of business, she thought about how fun it would be to do the business and this is when she took off with her business. She came up with her own designs with the selfie booths and people keep using them and she is able to cater to so many different events and it has exploded. Chris says she feels like its not work because what I do put a smile on peoples faces. She has done events from 15,000 women for the Houston rodeo, corporate events, galas, school functions, a fishing tournament and even a pet wedding in the works. She could absolutely seeing this as a full time thing especially during Covid. The balloon portion of her business had taken off incredibly. With Covid, people were doing the drive by parties and they exploded. She was able to adapt and keep it going. She is getting booked for many events and has a bright horizons ahead.

The very first time she used the selfie booth, she used it and don’t understand how it worked but now she realizes how effective it is. The biggest group she has had in one of her machines is about 50 people and her favorite event so far has been the Ladies Event at the Houston Rodeo. Chis says that her biggest source of new business has been through social media. Every time someone shares a photo from one of her booths it keeps going from there. She has never paid for marketing and tens of thousands of people have come in contact with her photos. Chris says “If people are having fun, they are going to refer things to their friends.”
