Bryan got started in this business by accident. His background is in medicine, he has always liked working with his hands. He has been a handyman and remodeler as a hobby for years. He quit working at the hospital and him and his wife moved to Nicaragua for a bit and volunteered their teaching English. They moved back a few years ago and he was teaching English online and in private lessons through Houston. When Covid hit, he lost his business, and he was doing handyman work on the side and his friends encouraged him to start his own handyman business. Him and his wife purchase and RV and live in it themselves. He completely gutted it and renovated it himself and right before they moved in another RV Mobile company saw his work and hired him on the spot because he was impressed with his work. After a few weeks, the guy told him that he needed to be doing it himself. It took a few months for him to work it up and get the courage to do so. He took $250 dollars, got some marketing materials and that’s how he started on January 1st of this year.

Bryan feels that he truly turned his hobby into a business. He realized this when he made $15,000 in the first month. After the first month he started looking into how to separate himself and he found the NRVTA and signed up for a few classes to be professionally trained and certified. He also believes that it was the praise that his former employer gave him on his own work gave him the confidence he needed. Having that confirmation was a big boost. A big part of his business is the business coming to the consumer. Bryan thinks that what makes his business successful is that he is mobile.
