Clear Lake Week Ahead Weather: Chance Of Storms All Week

CLEAR LAKE, TX -- This week will see chances of showers and thunderstorms throughout with highs in the high 80's and low 90's. Monday has the highest chance of showers at 50 percent, with chances dwindling throughout the week.

The National Weather Service issued a hazardous weather outlook for the region, warning of the possible thunderstorms and gusty conditions late on Monday afternoon.

Through the rest of the week, the hazardous weather outlook says, storms are possible and slow-moving systems could produce locally heavy rain.

Today: A 50 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 89. West wind around 5 mph becoming east in the afternoon. New rainfall amounts between a tenth and quarter of an inch, except higher amounts possible in thunderstorms.

Tonight: A slight chance of showers and thunderstorms before 11pm, then a slight chance of showers and thunderstorms after 5am. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 79. Southeast wind around 5 mph. Chance of precipitation is 20%.

Tuesday: A 40 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms, mainly after 7am. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 89. Southwest wind 5 to 10 mph becoming southeast in the afternoon.

Tuesday Night: A 20 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms before 11pm. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 79. South wind 5 to 10 mph.

Wednesday: A 30 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. Partly sunny, with a high near 89. South wind 5 to 10 mph.

Wednesday Night: A 20 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms before 10pm. Partly cloudy, with a low around 80.

Thursday: A 30 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. Mostly sunny, with a high near 89.
