Clear Lake Weekend Weather: Hot One, And Expect Storms
Isolated storms will move throughout the area this weekend, bringing rain and calm winds. Heat indeces will top 100.

CLEAR LAKE, TX -- This weekend will see chances of showers and storms throughout, with chances reaching their highest on Sunday at 40 percent. High temperatures will be in the 90's all weekend.
Residents can expect calm winds on this hot weekend, with a quarter to a half inch of rain possible on Saturday.
The National Weather Service has issued a hazardous weather outlook for the Clear Lake area, warning of lightning being the main threat of these isolated storms.

Saturday: A 30 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms, mainly after 1pm. Mostly sunny, with a high near 92. Heat index values as high as 100. Calm wind becoming east northeast around 5 mph in the afternoon.
Saturday Night: A 20 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. Partly cloudy, with a low around 74. East wind around 5 mph becoming calm in the evening.
Sunday: A 40 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. Mostly sunny, with a high near 90. Calm wind becoming northeast around 5 mph in the afternoon.
Sunday Night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 75. East southeast wind around 5 mph.
