Family Offers Reward For Woman Murdered Days Before Christmas
Valerie Young was found murdered two days before Christmas. The family has offered a $105,000 reward for information on the killer.
PEARLAND, TX —The family of a 59-year old woman who was found murdered two days before Christmas is offering a reward for information that leads to the arrest of the woman's killer.
Valerie Young's body was found on Dec. 23, at her home in the 1500 block of Roy Road.
She was last seen alive the day before by her family.

Family members told KTRK that she'd been shot several times, though Pearland Police never released any information on how she was killed.
Young's purse and cell phone were also stolen in the attack.

At first family members wanted the murder not to be publicized, hoping police could quietly solve the case, but months later there are still no answers.
