Flash Flood Watch Issued For Counties South Of Houston
The National Weather Service has issued a flash fllod watch until noon Monday. More rain is in the forecast Monday and Tuesday

GALVESTON, TX — Areas of Houston along the Gulf Coast are expected to see more rain this morning and the National Weather Service has issued a flash flood watch for Galveston, Brazoria and Chambers Counties until noon today.
The region saw periods of scattered storms and heavy rain, which saturated the ground, making it prone to flash flooding.
Some of the fast moving storms dumped more than 6 inches of rain in some areas of Southeast Texas, with coastal areas of Greater Houston seeing more rain over the weekend.

Rain is possible throughout the day and into Tuesday with highs in the 80s.
