Galveston County Constable Arrested For Suspicion Of DWI

Glaveston County Pct. 4 Constable Jerry Fisher was arrested on suspicion of DWI after motorists reported his SUV drivingt erratically.

LEAGUE CITY, TX — A Galveston County Constable was arrested Sunday for suspicion of driving while intoxicated, according to reports.

The incident was called into League City Police at about 8:15 p.m., after motorists complained of a white SUV that was driving on State Highway 3 erratically.

Police spotted the SUV in the 1200 block of State Highway 3, and pulled the driver over, and identified him as Pct. 4 Constable Jerry Fisher.

Fisher, 63, was charged with suspicion of drunk driving, and taken to an area hospital for a mandatory blood draw, KTRK reported.

Fisher’s passenger, 53-year old Franchelle Forgy, was charged with public intoxication and taken to the Galveston County Jail.
