Over the last few days, a memorial at the site where the child’s body was found has begun to take shape with child’s toys and stuffed animals affixed to concrete and metal poles near a cul de sac, just a few feet from where the boy was found.
Gloria and Mark Grunwell, who live near where the child was found, were there on Friday as investigators removed the child’s body.
Gloria told KHOU that watching the entire incident unfold was heartbreaking.
