Happy July 4th: Celebrate America’s Birthday On The Bay

CLEAR LAKE, TX — There’s going to be a lot happening this weekend as America celebrates it's 241st birthday.

If you live near Galveston Bay, or feel like heading down to the dand and surf, then you won’t be disappointed.

Party on the Kemah Boardwalk this July 4th with fireworks and fun. The show begins at 9:30, and you know it will be a big one. Plus, all those restaurants and sights and sounds ... don't miss this one.

Then of course, there’s Galveston. It's the 177th City of Galveston 4th of July Celebration, and this one is special. A parade along the seawall is set, and the fireworks show promises to be spectacular. Come early to beat the traffic.

The City of Pasadena will host it’s 4th Fest at the Pasadena Convention Center and Fairgrounds from 4-10 p.m.on Tuesday, July 4. It’s an Independence Day celebration with fun for the whole family! There will be a car & motorcycle show, vendors, music, games, the Toys for Tots BBQ Tailgate Shootout, an indoor Kidzone with moonwalks, bounce houses, games, wax hands, water tattoos and more. And of course, there will be fireworks! The 20-minute fireworks show is scheduled to begin at 9:15 p.m. and, this year, music for the show will be broadcast on 100.3 The Bull.

The City of Pearland will host the Celebration of Freedom from 6-10 p.m. at the Pearland High School football stadium on the 4th,. There will be a VFW military salute, The Slags will play, and it's all free.
