La Marque Man Dies In Fiery Crash
Man is killed when his pickup went up in flames after being hit by a speeding car that was reported stolen.

LA MARQUE, TX — The driver of pickup truck was killed in a fiery crash Sunday night when a man who was allegedly driving a stolen car, crashed into the back of his pickup at a high rate of speed.
The crash happened at about 10 p.m. on State Highway 3 and FM 1765, when the Lexus, which was reported stolen from Mainland Medical Center in Texas City, ran a red light and smashed into the back of a Ford F-150 pickup causing both to ignite in flames. The driver of the pickup died at the scene, and the man in the stolen car was injured, according to a KPRC report.

Officials said the driver of the stolen car was not being pursued by police at the time of the accident, KTRK reported.
The man is facing charges of unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, police said.
