League City Man Files Lawsuit Against 24 Hour Fitness After Chain Bans Him After Domestic Argument
Man claims dispute with Zumba instructor, who was also his spouse, led to excommunication from popular gym.

LEAGUE CITY, TX -- A League City man has filed a lawsuit against 24 Hour Fitness after he claimed they terminated his membership after an argument with a Zumba instructor.
Salvatore Bonaccorso, who filed the lawsuit in Galveston County’s 405th District Court on Jan. 25, said that he is in the midst of divorce proceedings from Eliseo Octaviano Flores, who was the Zumba instructor when the incident happened.
Bonaccorso said when he told the League City branch of 24 Hour Fitness about the dispute, the franchise alleged banned him from all 24 Hour Fitness chains, according to court documents.

Bonaccorso said that the fitness chain failed to provide him with an explanation of the ban, and indicated that Flores’ attack was unprovoked.
Attorneys for Bonaccorso said the ban was unjustifiable punishment that caused their client mental anguish that exacerbated existing mental health issues.
Bonaccorso’s attorney’s have asked for a jury trial.
