Police said that Gorman was alone with Tashiay Nelson's children -- an infant, a 3-year-old child, and a 4-year-old child -- when the infant reportedly died in his care.
Investigators said Nelson returned home from work to her apartment on North Avenue J off Highway 288, where she found the three children alone.
