Police Seek Clues in Lone Star Rally Shooting
Police: Two groups people began arguing when one man pulled out a gun and shot the other
GALVESTON, Texas - A man was shot on the last day of the 15th Annual Lone Star Rally in Galveston, and is in critical condition.
Police said the shooting happened at about 1 a.m. Sunday near the intersection of 23th Street and the Strand.
Witnesses told police two groups of people were arguing when one man shot the other man and ran away, police said.

Police arrived and began treating the wounded man, until EMS arrived to take him to John Sealy Emergency Room.
The man is in stable-but-critical condition, police said.

The suspect was described as a black man about 20-25 years old and 5-feet 10-inches tall with a slim built. Police said he was last seen wearing black pants and a red shirt.
Investigators are currently following an active lead.
