Post-Harvey Curfews Remain In Place In Some Areas
Many communities along the Texas Gulf Coast have lifted their curfews as residents begin the rebuilding process

HOUSTON, TX — The post-Hurricane Harvey curfews that were imposed to thwart looting and other nefarious criminal activity are still in effect in some Houston area communities.

Pasadena, Bellaire, Santa Fe, and Katy were among some of the local cities to enact a curfew that remain in effect until further notice.
While some remain in place, others such as most of Houston has lifted theirs.

Those cities that have lifted their curfews include:
- League City
- Pearland
- Alvin
- Chambers County
- Brazoria County
- Unincorporated Fort Bend County
- Houston (with the exception of areas flooded ny reservoir release)
- Friendwood
- Webster
- South Houston
Areas that have a curfew have indicate those will remain in place until further notice.
