Suspected MS-13 Gang Member Arrested After High-Speed Chase

LEAGUE CITY, TX — An alleged member of the MS-13 gang was arrested Monday night after leading police on a high-speed kchase for more than 30 miles.

The pursuit began in east Houston on Interstate 10 near Mercury and ended iine ar Texas City on Interstate 45 and FM 1765.

Police said the man was suspected of kidnapping a 14-year old girl who'd been found safe several days earlier.

HPD investtigators said they had a warrant for his arrest, and when they tried to ull him over on I-10, he took off, leading police on a chase south along I-45, KHOU reported.

Police eventually caught up to the man when he ran out of gas.

There were no reported injuries during the chase.
