Texas City Teen Found Dead In Neighborhood Park
Death of 15-year old girl being investigated as a suicide, is the second Texas City High School student to die in last 90 days.
TEXAS CITY, TX -- The Texas City community is rattled after a Texas City High School student was found dead at a nearby park on Sunday.
Bailie Lundy, 15, a sophomore at Texas City High School, is believed to have hanged herself and if confirmed, would be the second student to take her own life in the last 90 days.
In November 2016, on Thanksgiving weekend, Brandy Vela, 18, shot herself to death in front of her family after they told authorities she’d endured relentless cyber bullying from classmates.

It was a friend of Lundy’s who found her body after seeing her dog running loose in the park.
When the friend went over to investigate, he found Lundy’s body, officials said.
