CLEAR LAKE, TX — It's the first weekend in December and the weather is spectaclar, which means its perfect for getting out and doing something fun.

There are a lot of holiday themed events happening in your community and in Houston, and we have listed some that will help jumpstart your holiday spirit.

44th Annual Dickens on The Strand|Galveston | Friday to Sunday – Experience a Charles Dickens Classic in this 44th annual Victorian holiday festival. Dickens on The Strand, features costumed vendors, strolling carolers, jugglers, holiday food, and drinks. Tickets start at $7. Friday 5-9pm; Saturday 10am to 9pm; Sunday noon-6pm.

Pasadena Holiday Lighted Parade|Pasadena| Saturday @ & p.m.|The City of Pasadena and the Pasadena Strawberry Festival will kick off the holiday season in style as they host the 2017 Holiday Lighted Parade.

Pop Shop Houston Holiday Festival| Houston| Friday, Dec. 1, from 6-10 p.m.; Saturday, Dec. 2, from 10 a.m. to7 p.m.; Sunday, Dec. 3, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.| A weekend of artfully curated artisan goods from over 120+ artists. A Christmas Carol at The Grand | Friday and Saturday| This timeless tale of hope and redemption has enchanted audiences around the world since it was first published in 1843. Ebenezer Scrooge, Bob Cratchit, Tiny Tim, and the Ghosts of Christmases Past, Present, and Future come together in a delightful theatrical performance featuring stunning sets, lush costumes, and plenty of music and dance come to life on stage at The Grand in Galveston for two productions of A Christmas Carol. Tickets start at $30. Friday 8pm; Saturday 3pm.

Zoo Lights|Houston Zoo | Take in the spectacular lights and sights of the season while exploring the various exhibits in this annual tradition. Tickets start at $11.95. Wednesday and Thursday 6-10pm; Friday to Sunday 6-11pm.

Christmas in Kemah Market|Sunday, 11am to 3pm.| Head to the Kemah Community Center for holiday vendors, arts and crafts, artisan shops, decor and more. Your favorite merchants, arts and crafts, artisan shops, Christmas decor and more, will have everything you need to get you in the Christmas spirit.
