Clear Creek ISD, Pasadena ISD Closed For Second Day For Ice

CLEAR LAKE, TX — Students and staff in Clear Creek ISD and Pasadena ISD will be staying home for a second day as districts all over southeast Texas endured temps in the 20s and a wintry mix of ice, rain, and snow.

Temperatures dropped into the upper 20s early Tuesday and never rose above 26 degrees.

Teperatures are expected remain below freezing until sometime Wednesday afternoon.

School districts in the Houston area that are closed on Tuesday and Wednesday include:

The Houston area was the recipient of about four inches of snow on Dec. 8, but it wasn’t enough to close schools or cause delays.

The threat of ice and the wintry mix that impacted the Houston area will end by he morning and hopefully begin to melt away as temperatures rise into the upper 30s.
