Woman Kills Her Boyfriend While Robbing Him

BAYTOWN, TX — A 19-year old woman accused of shooting her boyfriend to death on New Year’s Eve has been charged with his murder.

Yvonne Ramirez, who is being held in the Harris County Jail with her bond set at $50,000 is accused of shooting Josh McKinney to death in Highlands during a robbery on Dec. 31.

The shooting happened at about 4:30 a.m. in the 100 block of Mizell Street, according to police.

According to a KTRK report, Ramirez who was dating McKinney, allegedly stole several guns from him during a robbery and then demanded money to gtet the guns back.

Police said Ramirez sustained a minor gunshot wound during the robbery, and they are investigating whether there were others were involved in the robbery.
