Missing Woman's Body Found At Clear Lake Park

SEABROOK, TX — Harris County Sheriff’s deputies are at Clear Lake Park near Seabrook, where they found the body of a woman who'd been reported missing by her family.

Deputies who were patroling the park at about 4 a.m. Tuesday found the woman's car at the park, but no one was inside.

According to a KPRC report, deputies contacted the family where the vehicle was registered, and they confirmed the car belonged to their daughter, and filed a missing person's report.

Several hours later, deputies found the body of an African-American woman near the edge of the water.

Officials have not said if there was any trauma to the body, or if there could be a motive to her death.

The case is under investigation.
