• Young Hunters Invited to Learn Safe, Ethical Hunting Practices (brownwoodnews.com) — Families in Coleman can sign up their kids for a Hunters Education Course on August 22 at the Coleman Boys and Girls Club, focused on firearm safety, hunting ethics, and wildlife conservation. Hosted by Texas Parks and Wildlife and local partners, the class is open to children 9 and older, with free entry for required adult chaperones ages 9–13.
