• DPS: Former Pampa police chief was more than twice the legal limit (abc7amarillo.com) — A former Pampa police chief was recently arrested in Coleman County after a DPS traffic stop on US 84, where troopers say his breath test was more than twice the legal alcohol limit. He was booked into the Coleman County Jail on a Class A misdemeanor DWI charge and could face jail time, fines, and a license suspension if convicted.
