Conn's Appoints Holt As New President, CEO

THE WOODLANDS, TX — Conn's, Inc. announced in a news release Wednesday it has appointed Chandra Holt as the company's president and chief executive officer.

Conn's, a retailer based in The Woodlands which sells furniture, mattresses, home appliances, consumer electronics and home office products, also announced she will join the board of directors, giving the board nine members.

Holt replaces Norm Miller, who is transitioning to a role as executive chairman of the board.

Holt, a Harvard Business School graduate, was previously the executive vice president of U.S. e-commerce at Walmart, where she helped deliver growth of 70 percent in fiscal year 2021, and also oversaw the integration of Walmart's store and e-commerce merchandising divisions. She's held various leadership roles in merchandising at Sam's Club, Target and Walgreens.

Holt will take over her new role effective Monday.
