- A Conroe man was arrested and charged with sex trafficking of a minor in connection with the disappearance of a 13-year-old girl from Houston. The girl was found Thursday after an Amber Alert was put out for her Tuesday night. (Houston Patch)
- The Woodlands Arts Council announced two new microgrant programs to support arts in the The Woodlands and Montgomery County on Thursday. The Dr. David Gottlieb Education Microgrant is for visual and performing arts teachers and arts-related nonprofits, and the Artist Microgrant is for individual artists. - The Ironman Texas Triathlon returns to The Woodlands on Saturday. Here are the roads that will close for the race. (Community Impact Newspaper)
