Houston Man Charged With Aggravated Kidnapping Out On Bond

CONROE, TX — A Houston man who is accused of using a stun gun on a woman and trying to kidnap her while she visited her son’s gravesite inside Klein Memorial Cemetery in Tomball, is out on bond.

Charles Michael Glaze, 53 was being held in the Montgomery County Jail on charges of aggravated assault and aggravated kidnapping, with a bond of $250,000.

Glaze was released on bond on June 22 and is required to wear an ankle monitor as a condition of his release, according to a Houston Chronicle report. (Want to get daily updates about traffic news and other events going on in your area? Sign up for the free Houston Patch morning newsletter.)

Glaze was arrested at his home in northwest Houston on June 19 after one woman reported that he’d used a stun gun on her and tried to force her to go with him.

Glaze is accused of using a stun gun on the woman who was visiting her son’s grave, and then pointing a gun at her, trying to tie her up and force her into his pickup.

She was able to fight Glaze off and ran to a nearby Magnolia Volunteer Fire Station for help.

However, it wasn’t until a second woman who’d encountered Glaze at the cemetery over Mother’s Day weekend, provided investigators with a photograph of his red F-150 pickup that displayed his license plate number.

Glaze was positively identified by both women through a photo lineup.

If Glaze is convicted, he could spend the rest of his life in prison.
