Over 800 traffic stops on SH 361 since safety initiative began (caller.com subscription) — Drivers between Corpus Christi and Port Aransas are seeing stepped-up enforcement on SH 361, with more than 800 traffic stops since Aug. 23 and a new 50 mph limit near Beach Access Road 1A. After several fatal crashes, TxDOT is gathering public input on additional safety improvements and plans a town hall on Mustang Island, giving locals a chance to shape changes.

Through partnerships, PAAC has already distributed over 100,000 doses across South Texas, including thousands given directly at its Corpus Christi and Alice locations.
