TxDOT is also taking public input by email to shape safety improvements and a town hall planned for Mustang Island this month.

Trial date set nearly two years after Corpus Christi mother's killing (kiiitv.com) — An upcoming capital murder trial in Corpus Christi will examine the 2024 shooting death of 25-year-old mother Kiara Allani Smith, whose body was found in her apartment after neighbors reported gunfire. Defendant Devaughan Williams, who turned himself in to Nueces County authorities and remains jailed, faces multiple prior domestic-violence-related charges as the case moves toward a Sept. 14 trial date.
