$49 Southwest Airlines Flights On Sale Now
Southwest Airline's twice-a-year, 72-hour sale offering round-trip fares below $100 continues through Thursday.

DALLAS,TX — Southwest Airlines Tuesday launched its twice-a-year travel deal, in which you can pick up flights on the cheap — less than $100 for a round trip on some of the Dallas-based airline’s shortest routes. The 72-hour sale offers primarily nonstop, one-way flights as low as $49, and the one-way prices increase to $79, $99 or $129 for longer flights.
There are some exclusions, of course. Fridays and Sundays, two of the biggest travel days of the week, are excluded, and certain dates around Labor Day and Thanksgiving are blocked out. There are also restrictions on Southwest’s Florida and Nevada flights.
Some of Southwest’s international routes are included in the sale and can cost anywhere from $59 to $250 each way, and prices are good only on Tuesday and Wednesday flights. But if you’re looking for a domestic flight, you can travel on a budget from dozens of U.S. airports.
