Amazon Will Now Deliver Beer, Wine To Your Doorstep

DALLAS, TX — Prime Now, Amazon’s one and two-hour delivery service, announced today it now offers the delivery of beer and wine in Dallas-Fort Worth.

Prime members can now shop hundreds of beer and wine products from popular brands including Miller Lite, Corona Extra and Kendall Jackson, to local favorites such as Deep Ellum IPA and Community Mosaic IPA.

Today marks a larger expansion of alcohol delivery through Prime Now in Texas – in addition to Dallas-Fort Worth, Prime Now is also announcing the addition of beer and wine to the service in Austin, Houston and San Antonio.

Whether you’re planning a last-minute summer barbecue or enjoying a movie night in, Prime Now has you covered. In addition to alcohol and everyday essentials including milk, eggs and paper towels, customers in Dallas-Fort Worth can also shop grocery items, pet supplies, electronics such as Amazon Echo devices, beauty products from Sally Beauty, and get delivery from popular local restaurants through Amazon Restaurants.

This announcement follows the introduction of one and two-hour delivery of Whole Foods Market products through Prime Now in Dallas-Fort Worth in February, providing customers with access to their extensive selection of fresh produce and meat, locally sourced foods, and even beer.

Some of the most popular items ordered through the service include fresh fruit like avocados, strawberries and bananas to pantry staples like paper towels and bottled water.

Prime members can download the Prime Now app, available on iOS and Android devices, or visit www.primenow.com to learn more about the service, shop items available in their area, and track the status of the delivery in real time.

In Dallas-Fort Worth, alcohol delivery is available from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. Monday through Saturday, and 12 p.m. to 10 p.m. on Sunday. Through Prime Now, customers receive free two-hour delivery windows and one-hour delivery for a fee.
