(Carrollton, TX) - In Celebration of National Physical Fitness and Sports Month this May, Avenida Carrollton will host two wellness-focused events to spotlight the connection between movement and healthy aging. Centered around the theme “Motion is Medicine,” the events will invite seniors to experience how staying active can support both physical and mental wellbeing.

“We often hear from residents that they know staying active is essential to aging well, but having support and community can make all the difference. We hope these events not only provide encouragement but also showcase the sense of connection and shared wellness that is such a hallmark of the active adult lifestyle,” said Rosie Escobar, Community Manager at Avenida Carrollton.
