Kicking off at 9 a.m., the parade will start and end at the City of Denton Development Service Center (401 N. Elm St.). Be aware the square will be closing at 6 a.m. on July 4, so all cars must be moved by that time.

The second event is the Denton Noon Kiwanis Fireworks Show at the North Texas Fairgrounds (2217 N. Carroll Blvd.). Gates open at 6 p.m. Parking costs $10 per vehicle, payable by cash, card, Venmo, or Cash App in support of Kiwanis Youth Services.

At 7 p.m., attendees will be treated to live music by Raised Right Men. The fireworks show starts at 9:30 p.m. Organizers suggest wearing red, white, and blue patriotic gear. Consider bringing lawn chairs, blankets, sunscreen, and water.

Expect traffic from 6-10 p.m. in the Downtown Denton area and near the North Texas Fairgrounds.
