Arrest Made At Comstock Middle School; No Shots Fired: Report
A lockdown at the school was lifted after no weapons were found, media outlets report.

DALLAS, TX — A large police presence was seen around noon at Comstock Middle School in Dallas on Friday. According to early reports, one person was arrested at the school.
Dallas Morning News reported the arrest was made near the campus. A district spokesperson told The News no weapons were found and no shots were fired.
The incident began when a student told a school resource officer that he was being and followed and shot at, KDFW reported. The officer alerted the police department, and a large police response and subsequent school lockdown followed. The lockdown at the school has since been lifted.

Two people were detained by police, but it's not clear if they will face any charges, KDFW wrote.

Update: Dallas ISD spokesperson reports that no shots were fired and no weapon was found. Police have a person in custody but it is not a student. Comstock Middle School is no longer in lockdown.
