Body Found In Apartment Near SMU, One Arrested
According to a probable cause affidavit, the victim's body was found wrapped in a blanket in the suspect's bedroom.

DALLAS, TX — One man was arrested Monday in Dallas after his roommate was found dead with signs of strangulation in the suspect's closet, police say.
Bobby Ngendung, 23, was acting "psychotic" around 5:30 a.m., his roommates told police. According to a probable cause affidavit, he was pacing back and forth in the apartment and repeatedly saying "I f-cked up, I
f-cked up, I put my hands on..., I put my hands on..."
Although he never finished the sentence, his roommates grew worried for their other roommate, 20-year-old Michael Mitchel, who they had not seen. The document states the roommates asked Ngendung where Mitchel was, a question to which Ngendung responded "who's Michael?"

According to the affidavit, his roommates later saw Ngendung quietly open his bedroom door and try to drag something from the room. When the witness asked what he was dragging, Ngendung replied "nothing" and returned to his room.
The witnesses told police they were able to calm Ngendung down enough to talk with him and drive him to a hospital in Dallas, the affidavit states.

While there, the concerned roommates told a security guard to contact police for fear that Mitchel was dead in their apartment. When police arrived, he was found wrapped in a sheet in Ngendung's bedroom with ligature marks to his neck and blood on the back of his head, the document states.
Blood was also seen on Ngendung's white pants and on the carpet in his room, detectives wrote.
A detective at the hospital, meanwhile, saw Ngendung fighting with Dallas police and medical staff.
Ngendung was later arrested and booked into Dallas County Jail on a charge of murder and a $200,000 bail.
The document states the roommates saw Mitchel alive earlier in the night with Ngendung.
The investigation into Mitchel's death is ongoing. Patch will bring you more information when it becomes available.
