Frontiers of Flight Museum

<a href="https://flightmuseum.com/" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">The Frontiers of Flight Museum</a> will host the third installment of its Caroline Rose Hunt Lecture Series on Wednesday, Nov. 4 at 5:30 p.m., featuring writer and historian Catherine Grace Katz. 
Katz will discuss her latest book, Shadow Before the Flame: The Hindenburg Disaster and the Prelude to War, exploring the people aboard the famed airship, its place in aviation history, German government propaganda and the rise of modern breaking news. The book will be available to purchase in the museum store. The lecture provides a timely complement to the museum’s current exhibit, “Hindenburg: The Flying Hotel,” offering additional historical context surrounding one of aviation’s most infamous events. A Q&amp;A with Katz and Frontiers of Flight Museum President and CEO Abigail Erickson-Torres will follow the presentation. 
The Caroline Rose Hunt Lecture Series brings aviators, astronauts, innovators and aerospace leaders together to share their experiences and vision for the future, inspiring the next generation of aviators, engineers and explorers while highlighting Dallas’ role in aerospace. 
Tickets to the event are $45 and can be purchased at <a href="https://flightmuseum.com/events/caroline-rose-hunt-lecture-series/" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">Caroline Rose Hunt Lecture Series - Frontiers of Flight Museum</a>. The Stewpot invites the Dallas community to remember people who died this past year while living unhoused in Dallas County, as well as those whose remains went unclaimed.
Our annual Community Remembrance Service will include the reading of names to honor their lives. It takes place Thursday, November 5, at 11 AM in the Sanctuary at First Presbyterian Church of Dallas, 1835 Young Street.
Held in observance of All Saints’ Day, the service will be led by the church’s pastors. People of every faith and those with no religious affiliation are welcome.
Free parking is available. Box lunches will be available for unhoused neighbors or anyone who needs a meal.
