City of Dallas Announces New Community Arts Project
The upcoming public exhibit is titled 'Dichotomy of Compassion.'
The City of Dallas is taking part in a new community arts project called "Dichotomy of Compassion." The show will feature sculpture, sound, and video submissions all centered around the immigrant experience.
The city put out a press release about the new project on Monday afternoon. According to the bulletin, the project will be led by nonprofit arts organization Artstillery, which is known for bringing untold stories to life.
"Dichotomy of Compassion" will be an immersive gallery installation featuring sculpture, sound, and video. It aims to foster dialogue, challenge misconceptions, and honor the immigrant journey in the United States. The gallery was made possible through funding from the Texas Commission of the arts.
