City Of Fort Worth: Full Slate Of Events Honoring Hispanic Heritage Month

Sept. 15-Oct. 15 is national Hispanic Heritage Month, a time to discover and honor the cultural richness we enjoy in Fort Worth today -- from Mexico, Central America, South America and the Caribbean. Several Latin American countries also commemorate their independence during this time, including Costa Rica, El Salvador, Guatemala, Nicaragua, Mexico and Chile.

In Fort Worth, there are numerous programs planned for residents of all ages and interests that explore the rich Hispanic culture:

In addition to these city-sponsored activities, local museums and community organizations are offering programs and activities throughout the month, including several in the Stockyards. An extensive list can be found at the Visit Fort Worth website.
