Dallas County Offers Free HIV/STD Testing Wednesday

Testing is offered Wednesday afternoon at Dallas County Health and Human Services, the Mexican Consulate and David's Chapel.

DALLAS, TX – Today, Dallas County Health and Human Services unites with David’s Chapel and the Mexican Consulate by offering free STD/HIV testing and education in commemoration of National HIV Testing Day. Free confidential walk-in testing will take place at multiple locations from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

DCHHS health officials are urging Dallas County residents to take advantage of this free opportunity to get tested for HIV.

“Most individuals who are infected with HIV do not experience symptoms for years to come,” said Interim Director Ganesh Shivaramaiyer. “Gain control and know your status by taking the time out of your day to get tested.”
