Dallas Municipal Court Asks Residents to Resolve Outstanding Citations

Take care of up to six violations per person per day between Feb. 28-March 12.

The Dallas Municipal Court is hosting extended weekend hours in the hopes of getting residents to resolve their outstanding citations. Here are the details on the program, which runs from Feb. 28-March 12.

The Dallas Municipal Court announced the initiative in a Wednesday press release. Dallas residents with outstanding citations can visit the court with a valid photo ID during these special hours and resolve up to six violations per person per day with no risk of arrest on outstanding City of Dallas violations.

This only applies to unresolved Class C City of Dallas offenses. Family violence, juvenile, and civil citation cases will not be processed during the events. For additional details, contact the Dallas Municipal Court at 214-670-0109 or visit the website for live chat support.

  • February 28-March 1, 2026 (Saturday and Sunday)
    • Dallas Municipal Court – 2014 Main St., Dallas, TX 75201
    • Hours: 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. (Check-In)
  • March 3-6, 2026 & March 9-12, 2026
    • Dallas Municipal Court – 2014 Main St., Dallas, TX 75201
    • Hours: 7:30 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.
  • March 7, 2026 & March 8, 2026 (Saturday and Sunday)
    • Dallas Municipal Court – 2014 Main St., Dallas, TX 75201
    • Hours: 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. (Check-In)

Normal customer service window operating hours are Monday-Friday from 7:30 a.m.-4:30p.m. Walk-in (proof or plea) court hours are Monday-Friday with morning, afternoon, and occasionally evening sessions.

There are also a limited number of spots on each docket. Once those slots are full, residents generally must return on the next business day to sign up for walk-in court.
