Dallas - In a concerning revelation, the Dallas Police Department is actively seeking a suspect involved in the fatal shooting of a worker at a 7-Eleven outlet located in North Oak Cliff.
The deadly occurrence took place around 6 a.m. on Monday, with police being alerted to a shooting at the retail location, specifically at 408 N. Hampton Rd., situated near Cockrell Hill and adjacent to the southern edge of Stevens Park Golf Course.
Law enforcement's meticulous reports suggest that the suspect entered the store and forcefully demanded cash from the register, waving a firearm. In a heartbreaking turn of events, the clerk, 54-year-old Nathanial Ogbolu, was shot multiple times before he could comply with the perpetrator's command.

The suspect also reportedly fired at an onlooker but missed, according to the police, before hastily fleeing the scene on foot.
Following the incident, Dallas Fire-Rescue quickly transported the critically injured Ogbolu to a healthcare facility. Despite the medical staff's diligent efforts, Ogbolu unfortunately passed away from his injuries.
