Dallas Woman On Life Support Following Plastic Surgery In Mexico
Laura Avila, 36, has been moved to a "more comfortable facility" following her botched plastic surgery in Juarez, Mexico.

DALLAS, TX -- A 36-year-old Dallas real estate agent remains on life support in hospice care after she traveled to Juarez, Mexico, in October to receive plastic surgery. Laura Avila's sister Angie told CBS that the Rino Center where she was getting numerous surgeries performed had placed the anesthesia in the wrong place in her spine, which caused her brain to swell and her kidneys to fail. Avila ultimately went into cardiac arrest Oct. 30.
Avila was in Mexico for a nose job and breast implant replacement. She has since been moved to a "more comfortable facility," her sister Angie wrote on Facebook Saturday afternoon.
"Laura is peacefully resting and her fate is in the hands of God. Visitation is limited to immediate family and very close friends," Angie Avila wrote.
