Fog Advisory Warns Dallas Drivers To Be Safe Tuesday Morning

Heavy rain and dense fog are expected to affect Dallas drivers Monday night and Tuesday morning. Drivers should use caution when traveling.

DALLAS, TX — The National Weather Service has issued a dense fog advisory after a blanket of fog covered large areas of North Texas Monday evening. The advisory warns drivers to slow down and use low-beam headlights as visibility is decreased to less than a quarter of a mile overnight.

The advisory remains in effect until 10:00 a.m. Tuesday and impacts most of the I-35 corridor in Dallas-Fort Worth. Drivers are encouraged to leave plenty of distance between their cars and other travelers on the roadways.

Heavy rain will also impact Dallas roadways Tuesday, and the Weather Service warns wet roads can cause an extra risk to drivers.
