Free Citizenship Workshop at Dallas College Mountain View on March 28

The event is hosted by the International Rescue Committee and Catholic Charities of Dallas.

With support from the City of Dallas, the International Rescue Committee and Catholic Charities of Dallas are teaming up to host a free citizenship workshop at Dallas College Mountain View on March 28.

The city issued a bulletin about the event earlier this week. According to the bulletin, the event doesn't require an appointment and will be completely free. Attendees will sit down on-on-one with a bilingual attorney or trained volunteer.

By the time attendees leave, they will have their N-400 application reviewed and ready to mail to USCIS. Additionally, RAICES will be hosting a Know Your Rights Session on-site open to everyone who attended the event.

The city asks individuals to not attend if they have criminal history, including arrests, charges, or convictions, even if dismissed or expunged. Individuals who have had removal proceedings, a deportation order, or agreed to a voluntary departure are also ineligible.
