I have actually lived in Gun Barrel city now for 1 year. I am the President of my subdivisions POA. We have so much going on here and we call our local Police Department for help as in people speeding (60 + miles an hr.) in a 20mph area. They are called numerous times to no avail. They don't show up you have to dial 911 3 to 4 times. And the speeders almost have run over our daily walkers, which there are a lot of people that walk their dogs, kids walking, a disabled woman that rides her wheelchair scooter around. So my guess is that we just wait until someone is run over or worse killed before they decide to come.
As of today 12-20-18 they have been called 4 times due to kids speeding up and down the street.
