DALLAS, TX — One armed homeowner shot and injured a person who tried to break into his home early Thursday morning in far south Dallas, police say.Police were sent to investigate a report of a home invasion around 3:20 a.m. Thursday in the 3100 block of Cliff Creek Crossing Drive.When they arrived, officers learned that an armed homeowner had used a pistol to fire on two people who entered his house with guns and demanded money, police said.One of the robbery suspects was shot multiple times and was taken to a local hospital, police said.The other robbery suspect fled from the scene and remains at large, authorities said.An investigation is ongoing.Image via Shutterstock
