Ice Storm: Winter Weather, Flood Threats Remain Thursday

Continued rain and below-freezing temperatures will affect parts of North Texas Thursday.

A Winter Weather Advisory has been extended to noon as freezing temperatures and drizzle arrive again Thursday morning. The National Weather Service warns another one-tenth of an inch of ice is possible in areas northwest of the Metroplex.

Flood threats remain active in the area as well. Systems of rain will continue moving through the area Thursday and could cause water to rise to dangerous levels in some places.

Drivers should use extra caution during Thursday's morning commute as both moving water and slick roadways are possible.
