Isolated Storm Chances Continue Through Tuesday
The highest chances of rain remain southeast of the metroplex.

DALLAS, TX — The same system of tropical moisture that dumped more than three inches of rain across Houston in recent days is now lingering near the Metroplex, where it is expected to cause showers and a few storms.
The National Weather Service said severe weather is unlikely, although the occasional thunderstorm could pop up, mainly to the southeast of the metroplex.
Temperatures across North Texas will range from the lower 80s to the southeast and lower 90s to the northwest.

Chances of rain will linger overnight, although few of these will make it into the Dallas area. The overnight hours will remain humid with temperatures in the low 70s.
Parts of Central Texas, meanwhile, could see scattered thunderstorms Tuesday and overnight. Strong winds, brief heavy downpours and lightning strikes will be the main hazard during these storms.
