Meet an “Amazing” Who Will Always Be Dedicated To Ballet

Suzelle Poole, age 77, still performs ballet “en pointe” (with point shoes), something most dancers give up decades before! She currently teaches at the Royale Ballet Dance Academy in Dallas, where her students range from age 3 to 63. In addition, she performs regularly at various nursing homes and schools. Suzelle was a soloist for the Houston Ballet for 10 years, has taught such dance celebrities as Debbie Allen, and performed alongside Nigel Lythgoe, co-creator of FOX’s “So You Think You Can Dance.” Suzelle’s mantra: “Life is too short not to do what you really want to do.” Agreed!
