North Texas Police Join In Viral Lip Sync Challenge [Watch]
Law enforcement officers from across the Metroplex are bringing their A game in these show-stopping lip sync battles.

Police departments across Texas have been riding the lip sync bandwagon, and North Texas law enforcement is no exception. From Dallas to Texarkana, officers have busted out their best dance moves to some of their favorite guilty pleasure songs.
The challenge has taken social media by storm, with some videos being viewed more than a million times. The battle began in Central Texas, where officers in Austin, Bastrop, the Travis County Sheriff's Office and the Williamson County Sheriff's Office joined the melodic fray, posting their patrol car karaoke sessions on social media.
But by the time the challenge arrived in North Texas, the game had changed. No longer was it officers lip syncing in patrol cars. The challenge has developed into an all-out film fest, featuring dramatic cutaways, professional lighting and dance moves straight out of a movie. (Seriously, you've got to see Grapevine's homage to "Dirty Dancing.")

It's unclear how one wins the Lip Sync Challenge, but as far as we're concerned, the officers are all winners for showing us their lighter side, reminding us that everyone likes to have fun and sometimes looking silly for the entertainment of others.
Dallas Police did the most, creating a three-part video capturing the musical tastes of three different officers — country, funk and cumbia — and even showing off one officer's slick moves atop a Hummer.

Here's that video:
Cedar Hill's video kicked off with a DJ Khaled classic, "All I Do Is Win." Three officers and several area kids can be seen busting some moves reminiscent of 2010. But after taking a break to do some "real police work," the officers returned with a moodier "Stressed Out" by Twenty One Pilots.
As for what happens next — you'll just have to watch the video.
In what might be the best display of in-car dance moves of all, Texarkana Police shared a video of their officer performing a one-of-a-kind lip sync to Blue Swede's "Hooked On A Feeling."
This one is a must-see.
Police at University of North Texas in Denton also whipped out a show-stopper, featuring two jams by Taylor Swift, much to the chagrin of an officer who can only be own over by TLC's "No Scrubs."
When was the last time you were Rick Rolled? That's all we can say about this classic from Mineral Wells.
Grapevine Police Department's video served up some Ladies of the Eighties greatness, featuring dance moves from big-screen hits "Flashdance," "Footloose" and "Dirty Dancing."
Irving's video offered a first-of-its-kind rendition of Marvin Gaye and Tammi Terrell's "Ain't No Mountain High Enough," that involved the full police force, from dispatchers to officers to, yes, even the fire department. It's good to see Irving sharing the screen with their brothers and sisters in red.
